  1. I think Real Aikido is the best ting to happen to aikido in years. Much more effective. Well one.

  2. None of this stuff works in a real fight with a real aggressor. I used to do aikido, it looks nice when done against compliant training partners all sticking to the style.

  3. i think i can beat up the instructor.. in front of his students. give um a little heads up. they have a false confidence in this snake oil bullshit

  4. ne vidim neku razliku izmedju realnog aikido i nekih formi jujutsu.Izgleda apsolutno isto.Hapkido takodje.

  5. The Samurai used Aikido if they lost their weapon. Aikido in original form is inherited by the Samurai. I am sure they practiced and developed it for a reason, the same reason they practiced Bushido, the Warrior’s Code – Way of The Samurai.

  6. powerful kickass woman… I love it.. it is all real she is blending she is doing it… yes I practiced and taught and after years of practice it does work on multiple levels — school focus, work, positive attitude and much more.. even self defense sorry to say I have had to use it in self defense as unpleasant of a situation as it was I was happy to have lived and taught and practiced Aikido for 1/2 of my lifetime

  7. UFC was invented to finally put to the the test what actually works in a fight, leaving aside a kick to the balls or eye poke.Cage fighters want to win, and money is as stake, so if Aikido was effective we would see it used in the cage.Ju jitsu is used in the cage, it works. Low kicks are used, they work. Head punches are used, they work.I can see how a bouncer could employ certain Aikido type moves to restrain a drunk, but remember he is backed up by other bouncers, and used to restraining aggressive people, hes probably also large. Drunks will also often not push things too far as they know the bouncer might head punch him. This then is quite a different context to nice compliant Aikido training where everyone knows no one is going to punch them in the eye.So it comes down to how effective you want your training to be against all sorts of attackers or fighters. If Aikido was a deal clincher you would see it in UFC all the time, but you don’t.Do I care if people do Aikido, not at all, go right ahead, its a nice hobby and might keep you fit but all Im saying is be very aware of its severe limitations in the real world, and always be sceptical of what your trainer tells you. All those fancy moves mean nothing if a good fighter is raining low kicks in, your blocks will be gone right through, and a millisecond later a fist will hit your jaw, and all your fancy moves will never have got started. You see relatively few throws in UFC and when you do see them they are nothing like the compliant throws seen in Aikido.

  8. Beautiful, strong, efficient and capable. Now that is a woman that makes this efficient version of Aikido even worthier, much stronger and prettier!!!

  10. “real” Aikido? Are u kidding me? the only real Aikido is what Osensei and Hiroshi Tada teaches.
All the rest is garbage, a poor imitation…

  11. Nice dance, don’t call yourselves martial artists. There is no such thing as genuine sparring with this..
