  29. This is not Jiu Jitsu. Why are those out there acting as such? All those saying this is Jiu Jitsu go to a Jiu Jitsu school and try to use your Aikido while rolling with them see how that works out. I did wrestling in high school didn’t help me at all. For Aikido to work against BJJ it requires distance management and keeping it standing. BJJ practitioners master closing the distance, and most importantly wrapping up and going to the ground not shirt or collar grabs. Watch the Gracie challenge fights and also if Aikido is so effective why is it not apart of ANYONE’S mma game, just curious.

  30. I saw this when i was a kid, I said to my dad “i wanted to do aikido”. Luckily my dad was a high school wrestler, so obviously he put it to me the most honest way possible. (I went to judo afterwards). Looking back now, this shit doesn’t work.
