   There’s nothing wrong with JJJ. But having trained JJJ, Aikido and BJJ, I speak with purpose when I say don’t conflate Aikido with JJJ — the two arts are ultimately going to have different goals, even if similar techniques. Just pressure test your Aikido better, don’t incorporate sacrifice throws since that’s going to compromise the quality of your training in a different way (going to the ground is always bad self defense, different if you remember that while training BJJ — as a last resort).
